Up to 50 mm of rain possible on Saturday in southern Ontario

Southern Ontario could be in for a soaking over the Easter weekend.

Environment Canada has put out a special weather statement as meteorologists are tracking a Colorado low that could bring between 25 to 50 mm of rain to the area.

“The heaviest rain is expected to fall Saturday evening and Saturday night, with locally higher amounts possible in thunderstorms,” the statement said.

The statement stretches from west of London to north of Cornwall.
