Police believe fire intentionally set at Brantford business

The Brantford Police Service have taken over an investigation into a fire at a Brantford business.

Emergency responders were called to the business on Colborne Street near Peel Street around 3 a.m. on May 21.

When police arrived, the building was partially consumed by flames. They said several people were inside at the time of the fire, but no one was hurt.

“As a result of continued investigation, officers believe the fire was intentionally set,” the police said in a news release on Tuesday.
