Regina police investigate weekend stabbing

Regina police are investigating after a man was stabbed over the weekend.

At around 10:35 p.m. on April 18, police were called to the 1300 block of 11th Avenue after receiving a report about the stabbing.

After finding the victim, police learned that the man was walking with two others before the trio was approached by four different individuals on bikes.

According to a news release, two of the suspects approached the victim, stabbed him and physically assaulted him.

The victim was transported to hospital by EMS for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact them or to submit information anonymously through Regina Crime Stoppers.
