A dual International House of Pancakes (IHOP) and Applebee’s location will soon be opening in east Regina. The restaurant shared the news in a social media post on Wednesday, asking people to tag who they’ll bring with them on opening day. News of the restaurant first started circulating late in December, when a job posting for an Applebee’s-IHOP manager was posted. Social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram both started appearing at that time as well. The dual restaurant will be located at 3698 Victoria Ave. East, the former home of a Chili’s and later the Rotisserie buffet restaurant. An Applebee’s restaurant was previously located in south Regina while another in east Regina has rebranded. This is the first dual IHOP / Applebee’s restaurant in Saskatchewan. The grand opening is set for March 17.
