Car slams into traffic pole at busy east-end intersection

At least one person was treated at the scene after a sedan smashed into a pole in London.

The crash happened shortly after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Dundas Street east and Clarke Road.

The incident forced emergency authorities to block two lanes of southbound traffic on Clarke for a short time.

It’s unclear what caused the crash.

Despite the damage to the pole, the traffic lights it supports remain operational.
