A yellow severe thunderstorm watch for western Manitoba has ended. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) previously issued an advisory at 12:34 p.m. on Saturday, stating that weather conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms, which may produce strong wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain. ECCC said the threat would fade away Saturday evening as daytime heat dissipates. As of Sunday morning, the watch has ended.
