The Queen City Pickleball Club (QCPC) has secured a new home following Brandt’s purchase of the Avana Centre. The group hosted the 2026 provincial tournament at the end of May, their final event before moving out in June. In its newsletter on Friday, the group announced their new home will be permanently located at 1333 Park St. in Regina. Over the coming weeks, the QCPC said they will be transforming the building into the Queen City’s newest dedicated indoor pickleball facility, a first class experience for all players in a welcoming and professional environment. The group also invited suggestions or ideas from members on how to make their experience even better. “While we can’t promise we’ll be able to implement every idea, your feedback helps us understand what matters most to our members and allows us to prioritize future improvements,” the QCPC club said in the newsletter. The QCPC said the goal is to have the building ready for the fall and will continue to share updates as renovations take place. Brandt’s purchase of several REAL District properties was approved by Regina city council earlier in May.
