Ira Needles tops list of CAA’s Worst Roads in the western region

A road in Waterloo Region has topped a list of the worst roads in the area.

CAA has released the results of their annual Worst Roads campaign. Barton Street East in Hamilton was voted as the worst road in the province this year. But when it comes to CAA’s western region, Ira Needles Boulevard in Waterloo took the top spot.

The western region includes Brant, Huron, Middlesex, Norfolk, Oxford, and Perth counties, as well as Waterloo Region.

The five worst roads in the area were:

1. Ira Needles Boulevard, Waterloo
2. Arthur Street South, Elmira
3. Barnswallow Drive, Elmira
4. Trussler Road, Kitchener
5. York Road, Guelph

This is the fourth year in a row that Ira Needles has made the top five list in the western region.
