Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break-in at an Elora restaurant and a nearby shed fire, which police believe to be connected. The incident happened early Friday morning, when police responded to a shed fire on Mill Street East in Elora. Police were on the scene when they discovered a nearby restaurant, The Cellar Pub and Grill, had been broken into. Investigators confirmed to CTV News that alcohol was stolen from the restaurant, with a door being smashed during the incident. The damage and losses have been estimated at several thousand dollars. Two males were seen on video surveillance outside the restaurant. The first suspect was described as white male in their early 20’s wearing a red jacket with white liner, black shorts with white horizontal writing in large letters, black shoes. The second suspect was described as a white male in their early 20’s wearing a dark blue jacket, black shorts, white shoes.
