Traffic restrictions in place after semi rollover on Highway 7

Traffic restrictions are in place following a semi rollover on the western edge of Saskatoon Tuesday morning.

First responders were called to the scene sometime before 11 a.m., based on the timing of a Saskatoon Police Service news release.

Police say a semi truck rolled on Highway 7 near 11th Street West. There are no injuries reported yet, but officers are investigating.

Traffic restrictions are in place in the northbound lanes of the highway extending from 11th Street to Hart Road, where the highway turns into the Blairmore commercial district and the west side Walmart.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area until further notice. More details will be provided as they become available.
