A fatal motorcycle crash in Wasaga Beach Saturday night has claimed the life of a 40-year-old man. Police say they, along with paramedics and fire departments, responded to a crash involving no other vehicles on Beachwood Road at 7:37 p.m. Officers say because of the collision, the Wasaga Beach man was pronounced dead at the scene. Beachwood Road between the Mosley Street roundabout and Robert Street South was closed to traffic at around 8:15 p.m. Police later closed Beachwood Road between Robert Street South and 75th Street South. The road wasn’t reopened until 12:15 a.m. on Sunday. The OPP says it will not comment about how the crash happened or if weather was a factor. Investigators are looking for anyone who may have dash cam footage or any information.
