OPP issue warrants for 2 suspects in Perth, Ont. homicide

Ontario Provincial Police have issued arrest warrants for two people in connection with a homicide in Perth, Ont.’s Last Duel Park.

Christo Allison Richards, 34, of Ottawa, was found critically injured in the park on April 12. He died in hospital.

His death marks the third homicide in Perth in the last 10 years.

On Tuesday, OPP said officers are looking for Joseph Madore, 34, and Brayton Kennedy, 28, both of Ottawa. They are wanted on charges of second-degree murder.

Anyone who knows their whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately, either by calling the Lanark County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or ontariocrimestoppers.ca.

Police previously said that investigators believe the incident was targeted, with no signs of a broader threat, though in Tuesday’s update, OPP warned not to approach the suspects if seen.
