Saskatchewan’s top baby names for 2025 revealed

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has finally revealed which names topped the charts for newborns in the province last year.

After getting dethroned in 2024, Olivia is once again the most popular name given to newborn baby girls in Saskatchewan.

Forty-three babies were given the name in 2025. For baby boys, the name Noah reigned supreme at 49.

Henry, which held the top spot for boy names in 2024, dropped all the way to 11 in 2025, going from 53 to 38.

The name Muhammad made big strides, jumping from No. 13 (35) to entering a three-way tie at No. 3 with Oliver and William (44).

After failing to make the top 20 in 2024, the name Nora shot up dramatically, entering a tie with Lainey in the No. 2 spot. (37)

Olivia has been the most popular name for nine of the past 10 years. Noah has also seen steady popularity over the years and has stayed in the top five in each of the last five years. The last time it landed in the No. 1 was 2022.
