Police investigate hate-motivated graffiti incident at Kitchener place of worship

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a hate-motivated property damage incident at a place of worship in Kitchener.

Police said the incident happened at an undisclosed location off of Ira Needles Boulevard sometime between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Sunday.

“An unknown suspect attended the location and applied hate-motivated graffiti to the back of seats inside of a vehicle on the property,” police said in a media release.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
