Calgary police are investigating after a man was fatally injured in an assault in the northwest community of Capitol Hill. At about 4:53 a.m., police were called to a home in the 1300 block of 20 Avenue N.W. Officials say the victim was attacked with a weapon. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and police arrested one suspect. An update from police at around 3:45 p.m. said the man had died. An autopsy has been scheduled for Friday. The investigation is ongoing.
