Mounties investigating suspicious death of 92-year-old man in Ponoka

Police say the death of a 92-year-old man is suspicious after officers found his body in a rural home in Ponoka County.

RCMP are investigating the suspicious death of a 92-year-old man in Ponoka.

Officers responded to a report of a sudden death at a rural home on Tuesday at 11:25 a.m. where they located the senior deceased.

The circumstances surrounding his death appear to be suspicious, said police.

An autopsy will be conducted Thursday in Calgary.
