The Windsor police have laid 19 charges following a home break-in. Just after 6 a.m. on June 23, police were called to a break-and-enter and vehicle theft at a home in the 5600 block of Riverside Drive East. Officers said two suspects went into the home’s open garage door and took several power tools, credit cards, debit cards, and a vehicle. The credit cards were reportedly used at several local businesses. On June 24, the stolen vehicle, which had stolen plates attached, police said, was found in the 100 block of Oak Street. While police were getting ready to recover it, a man approached and the Windsor Police Service said he was arrested and the keys were recovered. On June 28, a second suspect was arrested in the 1000 block of Hickory Road. A 56-year-old man and a 42-year-old man are both facing a combined total of 19 charges.
