Man seriously injured in southeast Calgary assault

Calgary police say a man is seriously injured after an assault in the community of Dover.

Police say they were called to an alley behind Doverville Way S.E. at 1:14 p.m. Monday afternoon after receiving reports there was an unconscious man in the area.

He was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
