A months-long project to replace City of Windsor streetlight poles begins Monday, and yes, it will affect drivers. There are 123 streetlight poles being reinstalled this summer, with intermittent lane restrictions planned around Windsor. There will be no full road closures related to this project, but drivers are asked to follow posted construction signage and drive with caution in the impacted areas. Pole replacements at each location will take approximately three to six hours to complete. This project will be taking place all around the city, and should be wrapped up by the end of October.
