Shots fired into window of Abbotsford business, police say

The front windows of an Abbotsford business were riddled with bullet holes after an early morning shooting.

Police in Abbotsford are investigating after shots were fired at a business early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the 31000 block of King Road around 6:40 a.m. to respond to a “report of bullet holes in the front window,” the Abbotsford Police Department said in a statement.

“Upon arrival, officers confirmed that a shooting had occurred earlier today in the early morning hours. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the business was closed at the time of the incident,” the statement continued.

The motive has not yet been determined, according to authorities.
