Toronto police officer charged after allegedly assaulting a victim twice in 11 years

A Toronto police officer has been charged after allegedly assaulting, harassing, intimidating and threatening a victim.

The accused first allegedly assaulted the victim in 2014. Police say more than 10 years later, in 2025, he allegedly sexually assaulted, harassed, intimidated and threatened the victim, as well as assaulting the victim again.

Toronto police did not provide further details about the victim or what relationship they had.

Police charged Const. Bojan Antal with various offences, including sexual assault, breach of trust by a public officer, criminal harassment and two counts of assault.

The charges have not been tested in court.

Const. Antal worked with Toronto police’s Traffic Services department with 12 years of service.

He has been suspended with pay.
