Prince Albert police seek tips about a suspicious fire outside their station

Law enforcement officers in Prince Albert are calling on the public for tips following a suspicious fire in the parking lot of the police station on Sunday.

Police were alerted to the fire around 4 p.m. on June 14. According to a Prince Albert Police Service news release, a wooden structure in the parking lot became fully engulfed in flames.

Officers attended the scene alongside firefighters, who doused the flames.

The cause and origin of the blaze is under investigation, but police are calling it suspicious.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the fire, or who has any information that might be useful, to call the Prince Albert police. Anonymous tips can be shared through Crime Stoppers or online.
