A section of southbound Highway 404 is closed in North York following a collision involving a transport truck and a pedestrian, Ontario provincial police say. In a post online, officials said emergency crews responded to the collision near Finch Avenue at around 6 a.m. All southbound lanes at Finch Avenue are currently closed. The extent of the pedestrian’s injuries has not been released. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes where possible.
