Windsor police have arrested two suspects after an air conditioning unit was reported stolen from a home in south Windsor. Officers responded to a report of a theft at a residence in the 9800 block of Cabana Road East shortly before 8:30 a.m. on June 11.Through investigation, officers learned that two suspects arrived at the property shortly before 6 a.m., cut the wiring to the home’s air conditioning unit, and fled the scene with the stolen air conditioner (valued at about $10,000). Police say the stolen property has since been recovered. On June 17 around 7:30 p.m., members of the Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Unit located and arrested one suspect in the 2600 block of Richmond Street. A 35-year-old man has been charged with: Shortly after 7 p.m. on June 29, members of the OPP-led Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad arrested the second suspect at his residence in Lakeshore, Ontario.
