Sunny stretch continues in southwestern Ontario with warmer temperatures by week’s end

Sunshine and comfortable temperatures are expected to dominate the region this week, with a gradual warmup heading into Friday.

Environment Canada forecasts clear skies and mild conditions beginning Monday, with a high of 23 C. Overnight, skies remain clear with a low of 9 C.

Sunshine continues Tuesday, with winds shifting to the north and increasing to 30 km/h in the morning. The daytime high will again reach 23 C. Clear conditions persist overnight with a low of 10 C.

Midweek weather remains steady, with uninterrupted sunshine Wednesday and a high of 23 C. The night will be clear with a low of 11 C.

A warming trend arrives Thursday, bringing sunny conditions and a high of 27 C. The overnight low will be 15 C under clear skies.

By Friday, temperatures peak near 29 C with a mix of sun and cloud. There is a 30 per cent chance of showers to end the workweek.
