Saskatchewan Roughriders unveil Grey Cup Championship rings

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have presented players, coaches and staff with their championship rings following the Grey Cup win.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are showing off their latest piece of jewelry - the teams 2025 Grey Cup Championship ring.

The rings were presented to players, coaches, and stuff during a weekend ceremony.

Baron Championship Rings was in charge of crafting the rings, with quarterback Trevor Harris, linebacker Jameer Thurman, long snapper Jorgen Hus, Head Coach Corey Mace and Vice President of Football Operations Jeremy O’Day all weighing in on the design.

The team says ‘every detail of the championship ring reflects the relentless discipline, unwavering commitment and unshakable belief in one another that powered the team to a Grey Cup title.’

The ring features a removable top shaped like a football, which is fully encrusted and showcases the teams primary logo. The logo is highlighted by 14 green baguette stones, representing each victory through the title-winning season.

The 112th Grey Cup trophy is also on the ring and is accented with five stones - marking the five titles the team has won.

It’s not just the outside of the ring that features intricate designs. Inside is an authentic piece of the Grey Cup game ball, as well as what the team describes as ‘laser-engraved tick marks inspired by the iconic wooden piece sourced from a Mosaic Company mine in Saskatchewan that hangs in the tunnel leading to the field at Mosaic Stadium.’

The team adds the wood became a symbol of the Roughriders’ journey, with a branded tick added after every victory.

The Riders pay tribute to the legacy of past generations of Roughriders by framing the entire design of the ring with the franchise’s five Grey Cup championships.

Finally, the outer edge features Grey Cup Champions wrapped with the team name below, and the band features the phrase ‘Rider Nation’ as a tribute to fans.
