Overnight vandalism closes school, damages community centre in Teeswater

Police are seeking home security footage to help them catch someone who shot out several windows at the school and community centre in Teeswater, Ont.

Damage was so extensive, Hillcrest Elementary School in Teeswater closed for the day Friday.

The front doors of Teeswater’s Community Centre are now covered in plywood after someone used a BB gun or pellet gun to shoot them out overnight as well.

Neighbouring properties also suffered damage.
