Two people allegedly steal hundreds of cosmetic items from Guelph store

Guelph Police are trying to identify two people who made off with nearly 300 cosmetic items from a south-end store.

The said the man and woman entered the unnamed business, near Gordon Street and Clair Road East, just before 6 p.m. on Dec. 10.

The merchandise was allegedly placed in one of their coats.

Police said the value of the items was estimated at $5,500.

The woman was described as approximately 20 years old, with tanned skin, a thin build and 5’5” tall. She had black hair and was wearing a light green jacket, dark grey shirt and black pants.

The man was also approximately 20 years old and 5’7”. He was described as having tanned skin, a thin build and black curly hair. He wore glasses, a tan hoodie, black jacket, black pants and black shoes.

Police shared a photo of the two on Friday.
