Guelph boy arrested for threatening to ‘shoot up’ school

A Guelph boy has been arrested for making threats.

According to Guelph Police, the 15-year-old sent messages to his friends saying he wanted to buy a gun and “shoot up” an unnamed school.

The student was identified and charged with uttering threats.

Police said they found no evidence that the boy had a weapon or there was a serious threat to the school.
