A pedestrian was struck by a CTrain Saturday morning at Westbrook LRT station

Investigation is underway after a pedestrian was struck by a CTrain Saturday morning.

Calgary police responded to the Westbrook LRT station around 7 a.m. for reports of a pedestrian who was struck by a train.

The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Calgary Transit said Westbrook station remains closed, in a social media post at 7:30 a.m.
