10 things to do in Calgary this weekend

The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival

• What: Head to Prince’s Island to watch comedians Theo Von, Bert Kreischer, Adam Ray, Mark Normand and Whitney Cummings perform at The Great Outdoors Comedy Festival.
• When: Friday, Aug. 22 to Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025.

Stampeders vs. Roughriders

• What: The Calgary Stampeders take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders at McMahon Stadium.

Barley & Smoke

• What: Local breweries and restaurants team up in a food and beverage competition featuring pairings of craft beer and barbecue at Barley & Smoke. All proceeds go to Kids Cancer Care.

Brewery & the Beast

GlobalFest

• What: Head to Elliston Park to take in the final night of GlobalFest, a brilliant international fireworks competition.

2025 Pacific Nations Cup
