Shots were fired at a home in Montreal’s Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough early Tuesday morning as its residents slept inside. Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 3:40 a.m. about the incident on Bois-de-Boulogne Avenue near Henri Bourassa Boulevard Ouest. “Upon arrival at the scene, police officers observed the bullet impacts on a residence and a car,” said Manuel Couture, a spokesperson with Montreal police. “Shell casings were also found on the ground.” A security perimeter has been established, and the K9 unit and forensic team have been called in. “Investigators will check whether surveillance cameras may have captured footage of the incident,” said Couture. “Although residents were asleep at that address, no one was injured.” The investigation continues.
