Watermain break forces closure of 10th Sideroad in Beeton

A watermain break has closed a section of 10th Sideroad in Beeton Thursday morning as crews work to tackle emergency repairs.

The road remains closed between Lily Street and 10th Line. The Town of New Tecumseth says crews are working to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.

Local traffic and water haulers will still have access to the 10th Line, allowing travel to and from McKelvey.

“We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this essential repair is underway,” states the Town of New Tecumseth in a notice.

Drivers are being asked by the town to use alternate routes and follow posted signage in the area.
