A months-long drug trafficking probe in cottage country has led to multiple charges against a Muskoka Lakes Township woman.

The Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit spent the winter of 2025–2026 investigating suspected drug trafficking activity across the District of Muskoka.

On Wednesday, Bracebridge OPP officers and the OPP K-9 unit executed a search warrant at a Southwood Road home in Gravenhurst.

As a result of the search, a 41-year-old woman was arrested and charged with five counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.

She was held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the court at a later date.
