Provincial police say two people suffered life threatening injuries following an overnight collision. Southbound lanes on Highway 400 were shut down around 1 a.m. Thursday in Potters Landing, approximately 80 kilometres north of Barrie. County of Simcoe paramedics say the for a single vehicle collision came in around 11 p.m. on Wednesday night. Southbound lanes near Muskoka Road 38 and Go Home Lake Road were shut down so emergency crews could get to passengers of the vehicle. According to paramedics, the collision left two people life-threatening injuries. They were both initially initially transported to a local hospital before air ambulance transported one of the patients to a Toronto trauma centre. Roads were reopened around 5 a.m., police say.
