The damage has temporarily impacted services, and patients are being diverted to the Prince County Hospital in Summerside for Wednesday evening and overnight. This also applies to patients seeking fetal assessments. Health P.E.I. says the damage is being assessed and an update will come Thursday morning. The Public Health Nursing office in Charlottetown is also cancelling appointments for Thursday, citing flooding-related water damage.
