Lauren Roulston

Lauren Roulston is a web writer based out of Halifax. Lauren grew up in Fergus, Ont., a small Scottish town outside of Guelph. She attended Carleton University and studied journalism and human rights. There, she took digital and audio journalism classes, where she ended up falling in love with human-interest storytelling. After graduating, she worked for a few years in community radio in Ottawa, where she edited, vetted, and produced local programming. She joined the digital team at CTV News Atlantic in 2026. Lauren loves art, travel, and crossing books off her never-ending “to-be-read” list. She speaks English and conversational French.
