Police arrest N.S. man wanted for more than 20 offences

A 47-year-old man from Lawrencetown, N.S., wanted on a provincewide warrant has been arrested.

Jeffrey Wayne Grant is charged with more than 20 offences, including:

• two counts of impaired driving
• two counts of dangerous operation of a conveyance
• two counts of refusing demand
• two counts of flight from police
• two counts of driving while disqualified
• two counts of assaulting a peace officer
• four counts of resisting arrest
• four counts of failing to comply with a release order
• possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
• two counts of trespassing at night.

“The RCMP thanks members of the public for their support in locating Grant,” reads a social media post from Nova Scotia RCMP on Thursday.
