Seven New Brunswickers have been awarded more than a million dollars to put toward their research projects. ResearchNB is giving $1.5 million to research projects that explore its four priority sectors: The recipients are: “Research is one of the most powerful tools we have to strengthen New Brunswick’s economy and improve quality of life,” said ResearchNB CEO Candice Pollack in a provincial news release. “These projects reflect the innovation, talent and collaboration happening across our province, while solving real challenges and building future opportunities.” The release says ResearchNB’s priority sectors reflect areas where New Brunswick “has strong expertise and significant opportunities” for growth.
