Platinum Jubilee: Milton Keynes, U.K. showing off humble roots after 700 years

There's a special Queen's Platinum Jubilee competition among U.K. towns that are applying to become cities -- and it's giving the community of Milton Keynes a chance to show off its 700-year history.

The fast-growing town started out as a 13th century village, then transformed into a postwar community that helped house London's burgeoning population – and now, It's one of Queen Elizabeth II's newest Platinum Jubilee cities.
