Vacuuming is one of the most tedious and back-breaking chores, especially if you have a big place. Most vacuums that can actually do a good job of picking up dust, dirt, and pet hair are heavy and hard to move around, not to mention expensive!
However, there’s a new player in town when it comes to cleaning, and that’s the Tineco A10 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner. After using it to clean my two-story home, I realize that just because something isn’t a Dyson doesn’t mean it’s not worth your money.
Here’s my full review of the Tineco A10 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner:
The Tineco A10 Stick Vacuum Cleaner glides across carpet and hardwood flooring like it’s nothing, picking up dirt and debris with its 150W suction power in one pass. While the vacuum comes already charged up, the instructions suggest a full charge of three to four hours before use. It came disassembled, but with a few clicks, it became a full-size vacuum ready for use. The other attachments, a 2-in-1 duster brush and a crevice tool, can be attached to the battery/dustbin top, turning it into a hand-held vacuum that can target smaller or harder-to-reach areas.
The details on the Tineco A10 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner:

My first impression of the Tineco A10 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner
When I first pulled out the pieces of the
Tineco A10 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, I was far from impressed. The pieces and attachments looked small and felt extremely light to pick up. The first word that entered my mind was “cheap,” so I thought this wouldn’t be anywhere near as powerful as other vacuums I have used. Owning a Dyson, I initially had very little hope for it working well. That said, I learned a powerful lesson about not judging a book by its cover when I started cleaning. I got to work putting it together, and I used the term “work” lightly because it was honestly the easiest thing I’ve ever had to assemble. It was together in less than 30 seconds, and I barely had to read the instructions because everything was so straightforward. The instructions are printed on the inside flap of the box in large pictures. After reading the instruction book, I charged it for the four recommended hours before use (even though it was already turning on right out of the box). After it was fully powered up, I took to my carpet, which is almost always covered in a thin layer of Australian shepherd fur. Let me tell you how shocked I was that this vacuum not only picked up the dog hair, but also did it in one pass. As I continued moving around my home and saw my carpet turn from a furry mess to clean and fresh, I was stunned at how something that felt as light as a feather could hold so much power. I felt like I had to tell someone because even my Dyson didn’t impress me that much when I first purchased it. Of course, my expectations may have been higher with the Dyson, but to play in that league when you’re that small, light, and inexpensive is nothing short of miraculous. As I tried the other attachments, which turned this full-sized vacuum into a handheld duster, my excitement grew. I cleaned my baseboards for the first time in a long time (I'm not willing to admit how long it’s actually been)! And again, with one pass, the debris that lived on them was now in the handy catch-all dust bin attached to the vacuum. Once everything was said and done, all the trapped dirt in the dustbin was easily tossed away with a simple click of a button.
Tineco A10 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner Pros
- It’s so lightweight that almost anyone could use it comfortably
- With two power modes, it’s powerful enough to get both mild and major messes off your floors
- It’s easy to put together
- LED lights at the front of the main vacuum brush light up your way so you can see dirt and debris better
- It’s so quiet my dog (who loathes vacuums with a fiery passion) didn’t even bark while I was cleaning
- The two modes—full vacuum and handheld vacuum—make cleaning everything in your house a breeze with only one machine
- It’s cordless, so you don’t have to worry about navigating around a heavy-duty electrical wire while you vacuum
- No matter what tool you use, the suction power is off the charts for a compact vacuum of this size and weight
Tineco A10 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner Cons
- The plastic felt a little cheap upon opening
- The wall-mounted dock requires more time and effort than putting together the entire vacuum
- The dustbin is quite small, so if you have a big home, you may have to empty it in between rooms
- It has a short run time of 25 minutes, so if you want to get everything done in one go, you have to move quickly or buy more batteries
My final verdict on the Tineco A10 Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner
As someone who hates vacuuming but loves not seeing dog hair on my carpet and floors, I think this vacuum is a cut above the rest. It’s not industrial-strength, but it does an excellent job at picking up dirt, dog hair, and dusting and rivals the work of more high-end vacuums on the market today. Since it’s so easy to carry, I don’t have to hurt my back during chore time. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I see some dog hair on my carpet.
