Streets to close downtown for CEBL Championship weekend

The Winnipeg Sea Bears will play host to the Canadian Elite Basketball League Championship Weekend, and several downtown streets will be closed due to the event.

The closures for the outdoor fan festival will be in effect from 9 a.m. on Thursday until noon on Monday.

Hargrave, Edmonton and Carlton streets will close to through traffic from St. Mary to Portage avenues, with one block of two-way traffic open for parking lot access from St. Mary and Portage.

Graham Avenue will be fully closed to traffic between Edmonton and Donald streets.

The Championship Weekend outdoor fan festival runs from Aug. 22 to 24 and is free to attend.
