RCMP searching for suspects after ATM stolen from motel

Manitoba RCMP are searching for two suspects after a truck was used to steal an ATM from a business in Lorette.

According to RCMP, officers were called to the Dawson Trail Motor Inn at roughly 4:30 a.m. Friday morning.

The business owner, who was on scene, said two men dressed in all black clothes and balaclavas were attempting to remove the ATM from the building with a black pick-up truck.

The two men drove away from the scene with the ATM, significantly damaging the building.

The owner was not physically injured.

At 7:45 a.m., the stolen ATM was found on Prairie Grove Road in the RM of Springfield and seized by police.

RCMP released surveillance photos of the suspects and vehicle.
