Oak Park football team named JV12 champs

There was a battle on the gridiron between two high school football giants vying for the title of JV12 champs.

Oak Park High School and Dakota Collegiate took to Princess Auto Stadium Wednesday night for the championship game.

Oak Park won 48 to 12, earning the team a flawless season.

Also at Princess Auto Stadium was the JV12 AAAA Bramwell Bowl between Brandon’s Crocus Plains Plainsmen and the Sturgeon Heights Huskies.

The Plainsmen won 30 to 12.

JV9 semi finals

Miles Macdonald Collegiate beat out Crocus Plains Secondary 32 to 13.

Grant Park High won 30 to 6 over Vincent Massey High School.

High school football action continues Thursday.
