People can expect delays on a major road south of Regina’s airport this month. Beginning July 5, Lewvan Drive will be restricted from Parliament Avenue to Highway 1 for road repaving. The first phase of construction is expected to go until July 10, according to the City of Regina. During this phase, Lewvan’s southbound lanes will be closed while two-way traffic is maintained on the northbound lanes. Work on the northbound lanes is scheduled for July 11-July 16, with two-way traffic maintained on the southbound lanes. The project is expected to wrap up July 16, but the city says its timeline may change depending on weather.
