A man has died following a single vehicle collision Saturday evening near River Philip, N.S. Emergency crews were called to a crash on Highway 321 around 6:40 p.m., according the Cumberland County District RCMP. Police said the driver of a Honda Civic went off the roadway and collided into a culvert. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 28-year-old man From Springhill, N.S., was rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Highway 321 was closed for several hours while an RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene. Police said the investigation is ongoing, with assistance from the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.
