IHOP opening franchise in Winnipeg

Good news for pancake lovers. Winnipeg is getting an IHOP.

Craig Hoffman, a spokesperson with the US-based restaurant said a new franchise will open in the Seasons development near Sterling Lyon Parkway and Kenaston Boulevard by the end of next summer.

Hoffman said the company has been interested in coming to Winnipeg, but was just waiting to partner with the right franchise owner.

“We hope this will be our first, but not our last,” Hoffman said.
