Some people in northwest Calgary were treated to a moose sighting on Thursday. Two moose were spotted ambling along Ambleton Drive N.W. around 4 p.m., munching on trees and minding their own business. People in the area say the animals didn’t mind all the attention from neighbours stopping to stare and capture videos. “To see it in person was actually surprising,” one Calgarian said. “(I) was just in awe for the first couple of seconds,” another Calgarian told CTV News. “I walked outside my car then they turned and looked at me.” Experts say giving the massive creatures space is the right thing to do. They also urge people to report any sighting to conservation officers.
