The Windsor Spitfires fell 4-2 to the Guelph Storm on Friday night. Guelph opened the scoring late in the first period when Tyler Hopkins found the back of the net. The Storm added two quick goals early in the second period. Ryan Roobroeck scored 20 seconds in before Hopkins added his second of the night to give Guelph a 3-0 lead. Windsor responded with a goal from Beksultan Makysh in the second period to cut the deficit to two. Bogdan Yakushevsky added another for the Spitfires in the third period. The Storm finished with a 32-25 advantage in shots on goal. Guelph held on for the 4-2 victory.
