A 33-year-old man has been arrested twice in six weeks for allegedly violating bail conditions. In November 2024, the man was granted bail from a Hamilton court on charges of assault with a weapon, possession of property under $5,000, and two counts of failure to comply with a release order. Part of the conditions was house arrest in Windsor using electronic monitoring and due to being a suspended driver, he was prohibited from driving. The WPS reported the accused was arrested on Jan. 27 for breaching bail conditions. He was released under the same aforementioned conditions. Bail compliance officers launched another investigation on Feb. 27, leading to another arrest on Tuesday. The man was found at a home in the 5500 block of Clarence Drive. He has been charged with failure to comply with a release order and driving while under suspension. The man’s surety, a 31-year-old woman, was also charged with one count of facilitating a breach of a release order. The surety is the person who agrees to watch the accused while they are out on bail conditions.
